The curriculum here at New Trail Farm embraces a fun and healthy beginning to your equestrian education. We believe that the joy of discovery and learning is best experienced with the thoughtful guidance of a qualified teacher. BEGINNER LESSONS
This course will guide students through the foundation of basic horsemanship and beyond. Students apply their newly developed skills within a learning environment that is challenging and demands their active participation. We offer private lessons starting at age 5 and up. $50 for 45 min lesson. We offer group lessons once students ability have been assessed.
FUN DAYS
Kids fun days are exactly that - FUN! We have two sessions for kids ages 5-8 and ages 9+. There are lots of activities planned - Red light/green light (with stick horses age 5-8), In-hand obstacle work (9+ only), parade through the neighborhood, relay races on bounce horses, snack time in the pasture with all the horses, and the kids favorite pony painting! These sessions are 3 hours of non-stop horsey fun; $75/participant
OBSTACLE COURSE
Obstacles do not block the path, they are the path. We are excited to announce that this year at New Trail Farm we have a brand new outdoor obstacle course. Overcoming difficult obstacles brings a boost of confidence that can lead to a breakthrough in training. Advanced noticed required $15/rider; signed release waiver required
INDOOR ARENA RENTAL
Take advantage of our new beautiful indoor riding arena. Measuring at 65'X140' it is plenty large enough to work several horses at the same time. We have barrels, poles and many obstacles available for use. Rate is $20 per rider/horse combo. Advanced reservations required; signed release waiver required
